The CAT PEOPLE are the new sentinels of a local park in Crawcrook, Gateshead. According to local children who invented this new species they have adventures in Space, fight monsters, survive pirate attacks, visit zoos, sleep in upside down houses and are protected by magic fireflies which they share with other park users. The sculptures by Marcela Livingston were commissioned by Gateshead Housing and are made in cast SG iron and lit by colour changing POLARIS LED lights from dusk till dawn.
